Chemical Properties Liquid. Almost insoluble in water.
Uses Polymers, emulsion paints.
Hazard Flammable, dangerous fire risk.
Safety Profile Mddly toxic by ingestion and inhalation. A sktn and eye irritant. Mutation data reported. A very dangerous fire hazard when exposed to heat or flame. To fight fire, use alcohol foam, mist, fog. When heated to decomposition it emits acrid smoke and irritating fumes. See also ESTERS.
