product description
Product Introduction
Chemical Name: Neopentane Glycol Diglycidyl Ether
Structural Formular: O(CH2CH) CH2OCH2C(CH3)2OCH2(CHCH2)O
CAS NO.:17557-23-2
Specify Gravity: 1.04
Boiling Point: 103-107(1mmHg).
Appearance& Character: It is colorless transparent liquid and non-irritating odor. Its molecular contains two epoxy groups which can take part in curing reaction of epoxy resin when curing, and form chain and net conformation, although the diluent effect of LS-678 is as good as that of single glycidyl ether, the performance of its cured epoxy such as compressive strength, flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength and adaptive time is better than that of single glycidyl ether

12.3.Applications
LS-678 is mainly used as epoxy resin active diluent.
Under the same temperature, it can lower the reactive activity of epoxy resin and stabilization agent.
Used in composite materials, anticorrosive materials, non-solvent paint, lamination and adhesives.
Used as fibrin treating agent to enhance its flexible, toughness, chromaticity, anti- alkalescence.
Used as textile treating agent of cotton or hemp or silk to enhance its tensile strength.
Used in diluent and toughness improvement, winding-forming.
12.4. Packing
Packed in 25 kg/plastic drums or 200 kg/plastic drum or iron drum
12.5. Attention in storage
12.5.1. Storage and transportation must conform to basic requirements of normal chemicals.
12.5.2. Stored in a cool, dark, dry and well ventilated area for one year. Keep away from ignition sources, heat and flame and sunlight.
12.5.3.It is necessary to maintain insulated (tightly seal) after use, in order to avoid negative influence arousing from moisture absorption.
12.5.4. This product irritates to the skin and eyes. If contact with skin, wash with
soap; if contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water
