Overview:
N-Methylaniline is a major product in the N-alkyl aromatic amine series and an important intermediate in fine chemicals. It has a wide range of applications. my country’s first production facility was built with aid from the former Soviet Union in the 1950s. The product is mainly used in the production of explosives stabilizers and is often used to adjust and refine crude oil. Because crude oil has a low n-alkane coefficient and octane number (generally around 50%), some technicians use it as a base oil for blending and gasoline, adding N-methylaniline to increase the octane number, achieving the goal of low investment and high efficiency.
