Trifunctional monomer – TMPTA, its unique chemical structure makes it play an important role in a variety of applications. Compared with monofunctional and difunctional monomers, it has higher viscosity, but compared with multifunctional monomers, it has lower viscosity and good solubility. Due to its excellent performance, it is widely used as a cross-linking agent, diluent and modifier in photo-curing materials, coatings, inks, adhesives and other fields.
TMPTA has the characteristics of high reactivity and high cross-linking density, can quickly cure and form a hard and scratch-resistant cured film, and has excellent solvent resistance.
Although relatively inexpensive, it is outstanding in improving the wear resistance, hardness and chemical resistance of materials. FSCICHEM enables TMPTA to increase the flexibility of the molecule by introducing functional groups such as ethoxy groups, thereby improving the flexibility of the dry film and reducing brittleness. It has more advantages than many multi-functional monomers on the market.
