In the textile industry, it is used as the main component of polyester, polyacrylonitrile, polyvinyI alcohol and other synthetic fiber spinning oil agents, which has emulsifying and antistatic effects, which can make the sizing yarn soft and smooth, and reduce the yarn break. It can be used as a soft smoothing agent in chemical fiber slurry and can eliminate foam in synthetic slurry liquid. HEL-20 also features low coking at high temperatures.

3. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used as an emulsifier for the manufacture of liniments, creams, emulsions, etc.

4. It can be used as pesticide emulsifier, emulsifier of emulsion polymerization，used to prepare water- soluble metal cutting fluid and household washing products.
